Thematic Drawing Reflection (3-D): Oct. 30, 2012.
1. The strong part of my drawing is probably the hair and shadows because the hair is realistic and the shadows are evenly shaded.
2. I think I could have done better on the mouth because the the highlights aren't very good.
3. I chose to draw Marilyn Monroe because I liked how the shadows looked and how pretty her hair was.
4. I used the gray scale, and the dark values are in the background and the shadow, and the light values are on her face and hair.
5. I tried to give her hair most emphesis because she is kind of famous for it, but I think her face stands out most because her lipsand eyes are really dark compared to her face.
6. You have to use your time wisely, which means thtat you might have to take it home to work on it also.
7. I first drew the hair first, then the shadow, then the face, then the background, then I did the details. I didn't really plan it. I didn't use any of my priliminary designs.
8. Yes, I thought this project was very fun and productive. I don't think that anything needed to be changed.
