Scarecrow Reflection: October 5, 2012
1. What are the good/strong parts of your project? What is done well and why?
I think the strong part is the paint job and hair job.
2. What do you think you could have done better in this project? What is not great and why?
I think that I could have done better trying to get the two pots to stay together.
3. What is your creatures name? What is the deeper meaning? Why did you do it that way?
My creatures name is The Pot of Death, and it's suppose to be creepy sort of. And we wanted it like that because we thought it would be good for Halloween.
4. What is your major color or color family? Why did you choose that color family?
Our major colors are basically brown and dark rusty colors because it helps with making it look like it was coming out of the ground.
5. What did you use to make your creature 3-D? What are some materials you used? Why did you do so?\\
We used pieces of wood as arms to make it looks like it was coming out of the ground.
6. What did you learn from this project that you can apply to other projects in the future? What lessons could be applied in life in general? Why?
I learned that sometimes hot glue doesn't help all the time. I also learned that you could take some random trash and turn in into something cool.
7. Why did you do it the way you did? Was it a plan? Was it by chance?
We did it so it looked like it was coming out of the ground because we wanted it to be kind of creepy. It was all planned and we didn't change it at all.
8. Was this a worthwhile project? Why?
I thought it was a very fun project and I liked doing it, but I think it would have been better if we didn't have to make it just out of recyclables.
