10-B: Final Free-Choice Project Reflection
1. For my project, I drew a giraffe in black and white with pencil. It took me about a week and a half.
2. I think I did good with the texture because I took my time with it.
3. I could have done a better job on the neck because I didn't really take my time on it... so I don't like it.
4. My theme is that I have a secret giraffe obsession and I need to get it out of my system.
5. The element I used most is texture because I wanted the little details to stick out to make it more realistic.
6. The princibles I used most are rhythm for the spots and emphasis on the face.
7. I learned that I really need to plan it out more so I have time for the finishing touches.
8. First I went to the internet to find ideas to draw, and thats where I found my giraffe. Then I got a big piece of paper and drew a grid on it and the picture of my giraffe so that I could match them up easily. Then I drew the outline, and next I filled it in and did the details.
9. I didn't really plan it, I just did it without thinking about it. I re-drew the outline when I first started because I didn't like it the first time.
10. I thought it was worthwhile because it was fun to pick what ever I wanted to do without a lot of rules. I think I'll draw during the summer maybe... or at least I'll try to get to it.
